I find that most people have put off doing theirs wills long enough. Because I work at home, my hours are flexible and I am able to help you get this process done quickly so that you may soon rest easy that your family is taken care of.
If you would like me to prepare your will, I will ask you to fill out a simple questionnaire which helps me get to know your family’s needs and helps you think about important issues such as who your beneficiaries will be and who will manage your estate.
Once you’ve filled out the questionnaire, we will set up a phone consultation so that I can go over the information and discuss your wishes and so that you may ask any questions that you have. After that, I’ll draft your documents and then we’ll meet in person to execute them in a will-signing ceremony. Again, I am very flexible and we can meet during the day, evenings or on weekends.
In order to start the probate process, I will ask you to fill out a questionnaire about the Decedent – the person who has passed – and about yourself as an Applicant. I will need this along with the original will and death certificate to start the application process with the Probate Court.
We will consult throughout the process and eventually go before the Court in a Probate Hearing.
In order to start the guardianship process, I will ask you to fill out a questionnaire about the proposed Ward – the person who needs a Guardian – and about yourself as an Applicant.
We will meet along the way to go over the process and eventually go before the Court in a formal Guardianship Hearing.
